Hidden Orbit is an exploration of light, movement and illusion — a ring designed to make its centre diamond appear almost suspended against the hand.

At its heart rests a 0.50ct GIA-certified pear-shaped diamond, selected to an exceptional D colour and VVS clarity standard. Rather than placing the stone within the expected symmetry of a traditional ring, Caleums allows it to sit seemingly apart from the structure around it, creating the impression of a diamond floating in space.

Around it, the band follows an intentionally angled and asymmetric trajectory. It does not conform to the conventional straight alignment of a classic diamond ring. Instead, it sweeps across the finger on a subtle tilt, creating a sense of movement — almost like an orbit passing around a celestial body.

Approximately 0.30ct of additional VVS diamonds trace the band, forming a continuous line of brilliance around the finger. Their light contrasts with the singular presence of the pear-shaped centre stone, allowing the eye to move between a delicate constellation of diamonds and one extraordinary point of light.

The setting itself is deliberately discreet. From the most important viewing angles, the mechanics recede and the diamond takes over, producing the illusion that the 0.50ct stone is simply hovering beside the finger.

It is this tension between what is visible and what is hidden that defines Hidden Orbit.

The ring does not rely on traditional symmetry to create beauty. Its tilted geometry, open composition and seemingly weightless centre stone give it a character that changes as the hand moves.

And with every movement, the diamonds respond.

Light travels across the VVS-set band before meeting the exceptional D-colour centre stone, producing a level of brilliance and glimmer that makes the piece appear different from one angle to the next.
